Overpriced and Overhyped. At this budget, you can get other options for a better stay.
Overall hygiene was fine.
Stayed at The Bodhi Tree, Leh, Ladakh for one night (7-8 Oct 2026). Had booked the stay through "Booking.com". Booking Id : 5627109902. Amount ~ Rs 6200/- First of all, the Hotel is over-hyped and way too over-priced in my opinion. Plenty of issues that I faced during my 1 night stay : 1. Absolutely pathetic location. You will go crazy if you are trying to reach the hotel via Google maps. Even during daytime, after an hour of struggle, we had to video call the Hotel manager to guide us through the lanes to reach the Hotel location. Can’t even imagine what would be the plight if someone is trying to locate the hotel for the first time during night-time. 2. The Approach road towards the hotel is extremely narrow and a big challenge for big cars. Only 1 car can pass at a time and it becomes a big challenge if there are two oncoming vehicles. 3. The rooms are quite suffocating. I mean they do have windows but there is no mosquito netting on the windows and you can't keep them open as it will attract insects in the room during night time. Even the inner corridors are little suffocating with not much ventilation inside the building. Even though the temperature outside was close to 15°c, but still the room was highly suffocating and not comfortable. 4. Electric Kettle - Not working and soiled. Looked like previous occupants had cooked maggi or something in the kettle and the staff did not bother checking it , cleaning or replacing it. We asked them to replace the same which they did. Press/Iron also not working which we again asked to change and they did on request. 5. Bathroom exhaust not working which added to the overall suffocation within the room. Small insects/flies in the bathroom. 6. Food was fine. Their main chef was on leave so no Ladakhi food. We ordered ala-carte for lunch - Chilli Chicken and Fried Rice. The quantity of the food served was good and more than sufficient for 2 people. Price was ok. Nether very expensive nor cheap.
