Comfortable and homely
Staff on main desk friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed pillows very comfortable. View from room also lovely and the breakfast was nice. I ordered the full Cumbrian breakfast, it was well presented and tasted nice but I would like to make a suggestion to include toast in that breakfast dish. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and I look forward to returning in the future.
There wasn't anything I disliked. I would like to suggest adding a crusty barm to the shepards pie meal and toast to the Cumbrian breakfast.

Lovely hotel in a stunning location
Location and interiors - very comfortable lounges
‘Accessible’ room was at the back of the hotel, down corridors and up stairs using a chair lift. Could hear the generator whilst we slept.

Nice hotel, great locatioon and friendly staff. Overpriced food.
the breakfast was good and all staff attentive and friendly, unfortunatelt the dinner menu was overpriced and the food provided was not worth the money. Two out of three dinners could not eat their dinner. One was sick the next day.
The quality of the dinner and the price. As a result we only ate their once during our stay.
