Nice historic feel to the place but circumstances that transpired led to very poor sleep.

Nice antique-y feeling about the place and very good breakfast

An evening wedding with a live band was scheduled without my knowledge when I booked. We were on the second floor, and the racket was intolerable until almost 10 pm. This certainly isn't fair to the guests who paid almost 250 dollars per night. I would advise if you are going to book weddings, they be afternoon affairs (say 2-8 pm), ESPECIALLY if there is going to be a live band with mic-ed music and drums and electric musical instruments. Had I known the quality of sleep would be so compromised, no way would I have stayed here. The second night, someone in a room above us seemed to be banging on the floor until almost 11 pm as well.

Comfortable room, sweet town. Very rural .

    Historic architecture

Had to have staff operate the elevator. It was understandable due to the quirkiness of the facility but it was a bit of a hassle.

Fabulous! A great place on Rt. 7, in Vermont to spend a few days.

The Brandon Inn was beyond my expectations! Traveling past the Brandon Inn on numerous trips to Middlebury, VT, made me want to eventually book rooms for overnights! We had a wonderful stay...the breakfast far surpassed any place in which my spouse and I have stayed, and we travel by car frequently. There were hot and cold options, much protein, great coffee, homemade scones and biscuits....The Brandon Inn is a must. for anyone traveling Rt 7 in Vermont! Thank you for a marvelous stay! We will return!

There was nothing we didn't like, from the person who helped me carry my luggage upstairs when we arrived, to the bartender who served us after dinner drinks! The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful!
