The room we had was terrible and we were glad we had only booked for one night.
The hotel is in a good location and has onsite parking.
The 'attic' room was too small to be a double and should be sold as a single. The room we had was tiny without a room for a chair, which was placed on the landing outside the room. The room had no wardobe or decent clothes hanging facility. The price for such a room was exorbitant - far more than cheaper and better hotels we stayed in in the area on our trip to Dorset - one half the price in Dorchester we rated 10. They also did far better breakfasts.

Delightful stay. Will definitely go again.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly hospitable staff who can’t do enough for you. Amazing food. Brilliantly positioned at end of high street and next to park (very useful if you have a dog). Highly recommend
Wished I booked a longer stay!

The best
One of the loveliest hotels we have ever stayed in. The welcome was warm and genuine. We were shown to our room because they care. Even though we had just booked a small room at the last minute we still had a sofa. Dinner was perfect. Breakfast was off the scale. The best eggs Benedict and full English (Dorset) we have ever had. The staff were friendly and seemed happy to be there!
