Lovely house, fantastic location, helpful owner

Location - less than 5 mins from the beach, less than 5 mins from food shops, restaurants and buses, 10 mins from town centre, 20 mins from Palace Pier. So handy for everything but on a quiet street. Comfortable and well-equipped Lovely little very private patio Great communication from owner

Nothing Less mobile people may find all the stairs a challenge. The house is on 4 floors and the stairs are quite narrow and a little steep. Wasn't a problem for us, but others may find it so.

Cosy townhouse in prime location for Brighton seafront

Excellent location just a few mins walk to the seafront. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the house was well equipped with everything you need.

Being over 4 stories it has lots of narrow stairs but that’s what you get with a townhouse property

Cute quirky town house in an excellent location. Highly recommended.

Absolutely excellent location. Great for pubs, eateries, shops, beach, Brighton and Hove. The property is a tall town house, really lovely, comfy, cosy and quirkily decorated. It's surprisingly spacious with a wonderful master bedroom at the top of the house. It has 2 log burgers - not that we needed them in June - but I can imagine it would be a lovely cosy setting with them lit in the colder months. Well equipped kitchen downstairs leading out to a small courtyard with garden furniture. Nice touches in that milk, water and dog treats were provided. The host Pete was super helpful from when I first booked with hints, tips and recommendations.

There's nothing not to like. I can't see what you could fault about the property to be quite honest. However, you do need to be prepared for the stairs. There's 3 flights - one down to the kitchen and then two taking you upstairs, firstly to the smaller bedroom and bathroom level and then the final set up to the master bedroom right at the top. The ones going downstairs to the kitchen are quite steep and wooden - not carpeted. Whereas it's fine if you are relatively fit and well, it will be difficult if you struggle with mobility or your joints. You'd have to be careful with little kids too. In our case it was our dog that struggled - he's an old, quite big Staffy and unfortunately the stairs were really difficult for him and we were worried about him falling on them so we generally took him out of the front door rather than downstairs to the courtyard. It wasn't an issue as you're literally out onto the street but the stairs are something to be aware of.
