It felt like a home from home
That I didn't stay as long as I should have

A lovely stay, far nicer than a hotel, would highly recommend.
Friendly host, well appointed cabin, very clean, comfortable and beautifully presented.
Everything was perfect.

AWFUL, DISAPPOINTING, UNCLEAN. AVOID!!
DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Nothing nice about it. And the owners ignore you when you contact to say you are not satisfied. Paid for a 2 night stay and didn’t even spend 12 hours in it before we left.
Where do I start? The Cabin is basically a wooden shed, with no insulation and lots of gaps in the wooden doors.. making it COLD and NOISEY. Unpleasant smell throughout. On entering it looked nicely presented but don’t be fooled, there are spider webs and LARGE SPIDERS (dead and alive) everywhere. If you want to have any sleep at all, AVOID this place. THE OWNERS OUTDOOR DOGS BARKED AND HOWLED ALL NIGHT LONG, this was extremely frustrating when all you want to do is have a nice sleep - especially when paying! It was also very distressing to listen to, our 9 year old daughter was very upset by the howls. Also something to consider if bringing your own dog- as it made our dogs unsettled too. There was no heating, apart from a log burner - with no starter kit to actually light this. If it had of been clear to bring our own kit to provide heat we could have. It left us with no heat, making the stay even more uncomfortable through the night. The gaps in the wooden door didn’t help with this either- causing a draft, and the beds were right as you walk through the door. No antibacterial hand soap in the bathroom , just some left over body wash. A basic amenity that would be expected at any stay. We left after one night, when we had originally booked to stay for two. Owner never responded to our concerns, and booking.com were also useless!!
