    Cozy & immaculate accommodation in a stunning location

    Nikki & Richard have created an absolute gem if a propert. The cartlodge is beautiful and cosy and absolutely everything is thoughtfully catered for from delicious home baked welcome treats to blankets, towels & bowls for our dogs. The location is simply stunning & we were lucky enough to enjoy a clear starry night through the velux windows and watch a beautiful sunrise over the fields from the stable door. Nikki & Richard are absolutely lovely hosts.

    A lovely place to stay, especially in the summer, a fair walk into the town along some small roads.

    The host met me to hand over the keys, which was ok, however it meant that an arrival time was then important. Personally i prefer the flexibility to obtain and return the keys from a lock box.

    There were only two minor things... The room light switch was not two way which meant i had to walk to the front door, and, there is no kitchen sink, so washing up is done in the bathroom sink, it was only me but had there been 2 of us it would have been more of an issue.

    A truly lovely week-end break!

    Hosts are truly amazing: helpful, caring and professional. The room itself is small but cosy with all the facilities we needed. Perfect temperature and fast WiFi

    Nothing really - could have sone with a sink by the kitchenette but it is not a must!
