    Shame as some of the staff were lovely.

    Breakfast was OK the staff in the dining room were ok

    The room was tired and awful, the net curtain had a ring ripped off and the threshold was bad chipped. The room was filled with odd furniture including 2 uncomfortable wooden chairs. The plugs weren't anywhere near a mirror to dry your hair. There were two rugs that were dangerous as they rumpled up on the cold lino type floor. The radiator in the bathroom only came on one day so the towels never dried. The bathroom mirror was black at the bottom so we couldn't see to clean our teeth. The owner accused us,within the hearing of the people in the breakfast room, of trying to leave the night before without paying for our evening meal. They had to look on their CCTV to see where we went as although we had booked in no one seem to know that we were in the "garden room" for 3 nights. We have always stayed in hotels where the final bill is paid on the day that you leave. Perhaps the rooms in the hotel are better but the garden room was across the car park looking out on to a weedy lawn.
