  A lovely convenient and good value for money place to stay. Except the early wake ups

  The hotel was very clean, tidy and well kept. My room was also very clean and tidy but on the small side which was not an issue for myself as I was the only one staying there. The breakfast was also excellent and way better than many main steam hotels I have stayed at in the past. The owner and host was also very kind and helpful with information and details on topics I asked about.

  The only issue I had was my room was located directly next to the breakfast room area and also (what I assume) the outside smoking area. This had a big issue with noise as the walls of my room seemed very thin. So at about 6:30am every morning I was woken up by the staff getting breakfast ready and folk making there way and having breakfast from 7am onwards. Not a big issue if I were on a working stay but on a vacation one this meant early unintentional wake ups. This also had the same issue with anyone going outside for a smoke and I could hear every word that was being spoken either on the phone or to a friend.

  Great stay

  We were visiting friends, so nearby. Iy was easy to find and lots of parking on site. Was quiet despite being full I think. Bed was big and very comfortable, had a great nights sleep. Good choice of cooked breakfast and staff were friendly.

  The en-suite needs some attention, the shower in particular. Saying that it wouldn't stop is booking again.

  A very pleasant stay for just one night.

  We had a deluxe room so a lovely super king bed. Excellent breakfast included. Good Wi-Fi. We were allowed to check in early too. Easy walk to shops and a lovely pub. Such good value.

  Rusty radiator in shower and a bit of black mould so a small update would be good, but otherwise all clean.

  Comfortable clean beds. Room clean and enough milk,tea, biscuits and coffee sachets. . Breakfast room was spotless, airey and plenty of room. Staff at breakfast were very attentive. A good selection of food, hot & cold. Plenty of tea/coffee. Cooked breakfast was very fresh and plenty of options. Ample free parking on site

  Shower could do with a complete re-grout. Kettle element was furred up with lime scale but was replaced on request.
