Thoroughly enjoyed exploring York, the theatres, and visiting Fountains Abbey and Castle Howard, too.
Great location midway between Minster and Railway Museum. High ceilings, comfortable.
Wider bed would have been appreciated. Wash basin was too small ie for hands only rather than a bathroom sink. Somewhat mean with toilet roll (no spare) and free tea / coffee / hot chocolate (only had 2 tea bags and 2 coffee bags for a 7 night stay)
