    Excellent location but very noisy

    Excellent location. It is in the heart of all the shops and restaurants and there is a small supermarket just around the corner. There are 2 parks very close by that look out into the Bay of Sorrento, one of which has a lift/elevator that goes down to the beach clubs and ferry marina. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. The shower has plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The washer worked well and the hair dryer had both high and low settings with powerful air flow. Very good communication. Dario was great at responding to messages before we arrived and Francesco booked our transfers from the airport and back to Naples for us, met us on arrival at the apartment, stored our luggage and then messaged up when the apartment was ready and let us check in a couple of hours early.

    The noise level from the street is very loud. There are noise blocking doors that cover the balcony doors but they don’t close all the way shut and a lot of noise travels up from the busy street. The elevator is for luggage only. The stairwell is very dark at night, especially in one section, and the height of each stair is taller than what we are used to in the U.S. This could be challenging if you have any mobility issues. The cord on the microwave is very short and does not reach an electrical outlet. We had to put the microwave on the floor and unplug the television in order to use the microwave.
