  We absolutely loved everything about this little gem. Simon the owner who is also an excellent chef was extremely hospitable and really friendly THe breakfast was so lovely. . Our room was amazing, very clean and very comfortable.. Simon was very informative about places to go to and generally a smashing guy. Simon's Son was really sweet too. The hotel is very close to everything in town. Highly recommend to stay here. Thankyou so much for looking after us on my birthday get away!

  A relaxing break in a great location with wonderful hosts. I would love a return visit!

  Great choice at breakfast, everything was good quality and fresh. The cooked breakfast was really good, and I cannot fault the food. The room was so comfortable and warm, and had everything needed for a good stay. One of the most outstanding aspects of my stay was how friendly, informative and welcoming Simon and his family were. I consider this to have made all the difference to how enjoyable my stay was.

  There wasn't anything to dislike really - even the weather was good!

  We appreciated how welcoming Simon and his family were and were very impressed by the fact that a lift was offered from the train station on our arrival and again on our way home. The Chelsea is immaculately clean and comfortable. We liked how there were areas to relax, play board games or even play outdoor games in the hotel's very attractive garden. Tea and coffee making facilities were always available in the dining/sitting area. There were excellent breakfast choices catering for all dietary requirements and food was freshly cooked when guests arrived to dine. We also liked the fact that there was a fridge in our room which was replenished each day with complimentary water and milk - so much nicer than a drop of milk in a carton. Toiletries provided were made by a Welsh company who employ people with additional needs and we thought this to be a nice touch. We had a most enjoyable break and felt that Simon and family work hard to ensure that guests have a real home from home experience. A big thank you to them 😊.
