Food choice dismal. Most of menu unavailable. Steak resembled an inedible shoe served with a side of uncooked Chips.

Staff was friendly, polite
Two thirds of the menu was not available and they were very low on spirits and beers. The staff did not seem to want to be there, plus they were complaining all the time.

Excellent pub stay in a quiet location.
We received a very warm welcome at the Inn and were shown a spacious and fully equipped room. Breakfast was excellent and the fry-up promptly delivered. It was also quiet despite being above the bar lounge. We didn’t explore the area as we were moving through, but there were plenty of leaflets evidencing a multitude of places to explore that were not too distant.
Perhaps some biscuits would have been welcome!

Pub nice but really need to sort out service and food
The room was very clean
The bar staff need to be at the front of house no making people wait to be served. The food was awful. We left the steak as it was inedible and chips warm.40 minute wait for food to be served even though on 3 tables of 2 there. Breakfast served wasn’t what was ordered even though it was pre order. No hot water in the room in the morning
