    Friendly staff, cosy bar, excellent accommodation.

    The breakfast was superb quality and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

    Characterful pub. Location by canal good.

    Room was annexed so needed to go outside to access. The egg and bacon part of the breakfast was good but the outside extras like cereal, fruit, bread …. was poor. Tea in mugs from make your own teabags was poor.

    Food and some staff.

    My room. It did not come up to expectations. It was very dark with only two small windows. One was frosted out to hide the terrible view. There was no storage so living out of suitcases.
