Potentially great stay but some little things let it down

The room is spacious and the bed is comfy, although the double bed was actually 2 single mattresses put together. The bathroom was big and had supplies.

The room, landing, bathroom and staircase have emergency lights with bright green LEDs. They are bright enough to disrupt my sleep. I'm not sure why this needed to be installed in the room as the room itself isn't a fire escape route. Other hotels seem to be OK with not installing them in every room... Also, the central heating wasn't working, which at Christmas was a bit of a disappointment

Need to be aware that you are staying in a pub, which implies noise from below in the evenings. It took a while to contact the staff in the morning, but the problem was solved in a timely fashion.

A good stopover whilst walking The Ridgeways

Well located approx 1 mile from The Ridgeway National Trail so great if you’re walking! THERE WAS A FRIDGE IN THE ROOM (and it was quiet)

No food served… though there were plenty of options in town..
