The colintraive - A hotel run by heroes

The building, rooms and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Had I not been here for work I would have loved to have stayed another night or two. The staff were beyond helpful and accommodating as they accepted my last minute booking and even waited for me to arrive beyond opening hours. They were compassionate and understanding about my situation and for that I will forever be grateful. The room was absolutely spotless and just made me feel comfortable and warm, making the highly stressful day seem to fizzle out of my mind. It was easy to rest, unwind and get an excellent night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious and I will never forget the hotel or the people that operate it.

I didn't like that I only stayed for one night.

Comfortable bed, great staff, best coffee we’ve had so far, best fish and chips so far, good breakfast, the dinner menu has good variety and food was good.

Shower controls are a little different but we figured them out. Bathroom sink was very small, if you bent down to wash your face you’d collided with the little shelf above it if you weren’t careful.
