    No Sleep

    Location.

Paper thin walls. I was kept up by the room next door watching TV and talking. Then when I finally managed to fall asleep, I was awoken by incredibly loud sex. I had a terrible nights sleep because of this. I would never come back. Also the WiFi was terrible. Couldn’t stream TV without buffering.

Will not be staying here again

The cleanliness wasn't the best, soap scum all over stuff, the shower door was loose and dirty, under the sink was a mess, a container of disinfectant was on the counter with the lid missing and full of liquid.. The AC did not work, no one was on sight to help, the phone call was over 30 minutes long, 20 minutes of that I was on hold, only to be told they will try to get the cleaning person to come see what they could do the next morning. Needless to say we checked out a day early and no one came in the morning before we left.

Moter inn with no frills close to Sequoia Park entrance; only good for sleep and easy park access.

Great location close to the Ash Mountain Entrance (Hwy 198) right in Three Rivers. Bed was comfortable and the shower (rain head only) was hot. My kids loved that there was hot chocolate with marshmallows (1 day's serving).

This is a no-frills moter inn with self-check-in. If you want a front desk for an extra towel, some additional coffee, or you lock yourself out of your room, I do not think there is anyone around to help you. You are on your own. Just know what you are getting into. We had a horrible arrival. It was actually awful. I arrived at 11:45 pm with my 2 young daughters after driving 6+ hours from Death Valley. We were exhausted and ready to sleep before going to Sequoia early the next morning. When we arrived, there is no one to greet us, no desk, nothing. The instructions were unclear how to get in so I didn't understand that I had to complete an online portal to get a key code - this should be much clearer because the wifi does not work in that area, making this incredibly frustrating. Even after I completed the portal which took forever with unreliable wifi i still got an error and no code. I called the emergency phone line 6-7 times, left messages and texts, and no one picked up or returned my calls. I was furious and tired. We were only able to get in after I fiddled with the key box and realized it was actually not locked -- so after all that the keys were in the open. I didn't even imagine that it would be so insecure, but it worked for us in this case. A million thumbs down for the arrival process. Then, when we got in the room, it had an odor like sewage that they had sprayed perfume over. The bathroom window was open & AC was on like they were airing it out. I didn't want everything to smell, so we just left our bags in the car and went to bed. Someone must have come by the next day because the AC was off when we got back, but the smell lingered. The hand towel hook was broken and fell off the wall in my hand. There is no book or any type of information about restaurants, local shops or anything. Not even a brochure for Sequoia. No instructions on check-in or check-out.
