    Lovely cosy nook for a short stay!

    Great location. Close to the city centre and easy walk to the railway station. Nice and quiet at night. Beanbag seat in the window was enjoyed by my teenager! Owners were welcoming but also pleasantly hands-off while we were there. Bed comfortable and flat was nice and warm.

    No washing machine for longer stays or means to easily dry damp clothes after getting rained on. Stairs from ground floor were very steep and narrow. Kitchen was of a good standard but there was a lack of basic items such as no kitchen roll for spillages etc, no wooden spoons, no pyrex or ceramic for cooking items in the oven, no scrubbing brush for cleaning pots and pans easily.

    We really loved our visit.

    The location was excellent. Great little neighbourhood and a beautiful walk to all the sights. We felt like we had a real home away from home. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the bed super comfortable.

    The steep stairs. I have a slight disability and carrying luggage up and down was a bit of a struggle however, it was a small issue compared to all the good things. It might be good to let people know there are a lot of stairs.

    Good location for York

    Easy walk to York Centre. Tea,coffee , toiletries provided. Spacious. Enjoyed Viking decor

    Front outer door had severely broken lock , alerted owner but no response. Inner door had good lock but still security issue

    Loved the proximity to town. Lovely bedroom with a cosy living room. Good bathroom fascilities with lovely shower.

    Did get quite cold, did turn heating up, but struggled to warm living room due to large window. However, the blankets provided kept everyone warm enough 😊
