  Lovely, quiet and you get a bit of the feel of the day and age when Thomas Hardy lived.

  The cottage makes for a very romantic setting in Dorset, when you are into hiking or playing golf, this is a fab place. All is close at hand if you have a car. The view from the living room is amazing!!!!!

  The kitchen table plus kitchen indeling are fairly small, it’ll do for having your breakfast in the morning (for 2 personen). In the evening we prefereer having dinner in the living room, but one needs to go upstairs then.

  Lovely property. There are lots of books and the views are amazing from the windows. There were some generous food items left for us which we really appreciated - a lot. We were woken by sheep, cows and pheasants and the lane is only used by residents so was very quiet and the skies were pitch black at night. The cottage is very clean and well kept.

  There is only one thing and that is the stairs. I feel they need a non slip surface. Although they are really aesthetically lovely you really need to hang on as the wood is very slippery with socks or soft slippers and uneven rises at the top area. We wouldnt usually choose to wear shoes ( for grip) all the time indoors out of respect for the property. It wouldnt stop us staying again though.

  A beautiful stay in an English cottage suitable for two to four people who are interested in living the English dream fo

  Very nice cottage located in a beautiful landscape close to the village and the coast. The renters were friendly and kind, showed us around the house and garden and greeted us with some fruit. There is bread and tea and biscuits for the guests and the renters know Dorset and its hinking paths, cities and villages very well and give good recommendations.

  Beautiful stunning property, very quiet location

  Lovely quiet location, owners live next door and were very friendly, house immaculate, superb facilities

  Downstairs bathroom, this was my mistake I didn’t read the details properly, beautiful bathroom but wasn’t helpful for us downstairs, lounge was upstairs which made things interesting, again my mistake I should have read the details, stunning property the cleanest one I have every stayed in
