    Beautiful, comfortable, country home. Highly recommend.

    The Country House Maffra was exactly what we needed during a road trip from Melbourne to Sydney. The beds were extremely comfortable! We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

    The home is in a residential neighborhood. Not a problem, just something to keep in mind for keeping noise levels down upon arrival.

    Cosy country house near town, excellent hosts

    Our experience with Lesley and The Country House was excellent. The accomodation itself was beautiful and cosy, with so much attention to detail throughout the house. It was located close to town so it was easy to access the main street (shops, cafes, etc.) by car or on foot. We arrived later at night, but it was easy to access the keys and Lesley had turned on the heater for us so the house was already warm and cosy for us, which was so sweet! Lesley had great communication and was attentive to our needs during our stay. I would 100% recommend this to anyone else and would consider staying again next time we're in town!
