  Exceptional! So much more than your bog-standard city hotel!

  The Cow Hollow Hotel is a stylish, intimate, boutique hotel with outstanding service. We were welcomed with a personal note in our room recognising the reason for our stay (10th wedding anniversary) and treated to a complimentary glass of Prosecco (standard for all guests- as is the milk and cookies delivered to your room before bedtime each night!). Breakfast is delivered to your room each morning at a time of your choosing, which suited us perfectly- so nice to have breakfast in bed rather than rushing to get up and dressed to make it down for breakfast as in many hotels (the yoghurt and granola is delicious and definitely set us up for the day). The room was clean with excellent amenities, and the location is perfect for getting to local attractions, shopping, bars & restaurants. The staff are really friendly with excellent recommendations for places to eat and drink. It’s very reasonably priced for everything you get. Thank you for a wonderful stay- we will definitely return

  Great staff, lovely intersting hotel.

  No kettle in room. However, the staff were great and offered to make any complimentary hot drinks at the bar.

  Für alle, die etwas Kreatives suchen und bereit sind, dafür Abstriche zu machen ...

  Bei diesem Hotel bin ich zwiegespalten: Einerseits respektiere ich die Bemühungen, einem alten Haus neues, durchaus kreatives, Leben einzuhauchen. Viele Details zeugen vom Engagement, hier etwas Besonderes zu schaffen. Und die Lage ist natürlich großartig, das Personal sehr nett ... so weit, so gut ...

  Aber das Hotel als Fotomotiv und das Hotel als temporäres Zuhause sind eben zwei paar Schuhe. Und gerade, was das Wohnen betrifft, muss man als Gast doch einige Abstriche machen: Die Zimmer sind extrem klein, Bad/WC/Dusche so eng, dass sie kaum funktionell sind (+ Spülung war defekt), die Atmosphäre eher düster/stickig.

  A great stay in a boutique hotel, walking distance to all places in the city!

  Our room was compact but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, The room was not big enough for any wardrobe space or space to put your suitcase. It was perfect for our one night stay. The bathroom was large and shower clean and water hot. Had hairdryer, straighteners and curling tongs too! Decor was quirky and unique, we loved it! Your chosen breakfast was delivered to your room and the coffee was great! Our flight was late and we had a dinner booked so was a very quick in and out when we arrived but the small bar area looked great too! Not sure how noisy it would be at the weekend (we stayed on a Wednesday) as you can hear people walking around in the corridors and next door room. Staff were friendly and chatty. We had a great stay and would recommend.
