The private lodge was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, the little patio area with hot tub was amazing, especially with the sounds of the nearby stream. Set right in the country side so it was secluded and quiet The host left us a little gift basket with a bottle of wine.
It was further from the centre of Kirby Longsdale than we expected, limited taxi services available The map location for the cow shed on this app is incorrect and misleading, there is a property owned by the same hosts in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale but it's not this one

Lovely location but probably not worth the price tag
It was a cute property with hot tub
It didn’t feel very clean with cobwebs, the bed was not comfortable compared to many other hotel beds, it was impossible to get a taxi to and from and ultimately it didn’t feel like it was worth the price

Beautiful waterfall, lovely bedroom, hot tub great wonderful views
Found breakfast bar a bit awkward to eat at. Unfortunately weather not great otherwise you can eat outside which would have been lovely.

A magical stay in the most stunning location .
We loved everything about this magical place. The location was magical with the only sound coming from the glowing stream and birdsong, the accommodation was immaculate and beautifully presented. We could not have wished for anywhere better to enjoy some much needed peace and rest away from everything!
