    Bad.

    All smeg kitchenware. Was clean and the location was good.

    Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing. The listing did not clearly disclose that the house was divided into separate rental units, with different guests staying on different floors. This had a significant impact on our experience, as noise from the upstairs guests could be clearly heard in our unit. At around 5 a.m., we were woken up by loud conversations, laughing, footsteps, repeated floor bang, and doors closing upstairs. The noise continued intermittently and significantly disrupted our sleep. The lack of sleep also coincided with a flare-up of my neurodermatitis, adding to the physical discomfort during our trip. It took us a considerable amount of time to get in touch with the host about the situation. When the host eventually responded, they said they would remind the upstairs guests to be more considerate. Although the noise decreased for a while, it continued intermittently afterward. We also raised further concerns with the host but did not receive a response to our follow-up message. Overall, the lack of clear information about the separate rental units, the significant noise disturbance, and the difficulty reaching the host made this a disappointing stay. Guests should be informed in advance when they will be sharing a building with unrelated guests, and timely communication from the host is especially important when problems arise. We would recommend that future guests clarify the property’s layout and sound insulation before booking.

    Cozy, spacious apartment in the peaceful Beauport area, a short drive from Old Quebec. Comfortable place, we were 3 people, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Parking on-site made things easy. A great base for waterfalls and island day trips.
