Despite a few issues overall it was a good stay , nice pub great food and a lovely surroundings.
Great pub and perfect location for what we wanted
Bathrooms had a few issues, cold water and the shower heads wouldn’t stay on the wall , toilet wouldn’t flush properly.

Lovely food, good location, need to pay attention to details.
The breakfast was really great (although see comments about menu matching what was actually served) and the evening meal we had was really lovely and well presented. The portions were quite large. The bones are there to make it a great place to stay. Parking was sufficient for the number of rooms and private away from the pub goers. The staff were generally very helpful and friendly.
The television didn't work unless you used BBCiPlayer or other stations accessible via the internet but even then it wasn't great as it kept hanging. The internet was very slow. The light over the mirror in our bathroom wasn't connected at one end and didn't work. We had to ask for hand wash as there were none in the room. These issues were also experienced by friends in another room. The towel radiator didn't work. There was a crack in one window. Milk had not been left although coffee/tea had been provided. One item on the breakfast menu was porridge with banana and chia seeds which I was looking forward to. Instead it came with strawberries, blueberries & raspberry. It was really nice but it was a problem to a friend who is allergic to strawberries.
