Perfect Spring Break
Generally a very positive experience. Lack of seating in room was a bugbear plus the fact that there was only one outdoor lounger when the room is clearly meant for two people. Very nice and friendly service, good food and wine if a little on the expensive side. Despite the above, would definitely stay again.

Lovely short break away
We will not stay anywhere else but the Crown we cannot find one fault at all. Rob the staff the food and the rooms are all excellent and we are made to feel so welcome. Thanks for another wonderful stay Team Crown x Carole , Stuart & Cooper

Stayed at Foxglove lodge for 3 nights and dined at the crown. We were blown away by the quality of food and comfort and peach of the lodge. Such a remote and beautiful countryside with many places to walk. Manager was really helpful, gave us a map and everything. We will definitely be back 100% - my only wish… was that I want to live there now 🤣

A delightful lunchtime experience.
I cannot stress how helpful and considerate our waitress and the chef were in accommodating my food intolerances. I was made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. The service and food was excellent and the apple tarte tatin was amazing! And our dogs were welcomed too!
