Great location, but logistics make it a hassle
Very clean, looked like the pictures, conveniently located and secure. Host responded fast.
The apartment is decent and the location is excellent, but several small issues added up during my stay. Parking and check-in: Parking is included, but it's in a public garage about 5 minutes from the apartment. The key and garage card are picked up at a bar about 5 to 7 minutes away. That means you first have to find street parking (which is very difficult), collect the key, move your car to the garage, and then carry your luggage back to the unit. You repeat the process at checkout. One important tip: you need the card to both enter and exit the garage. I wasn't told this and left it in the car, so keep it with you. Stairs: There are a lot of stairs to reach the unit. That's common in Ljubljana, but worth knowing if you have heavy bags. Host communication: The host responded quickly, and he was never rude. Still, the interactions felt minimal, and I didn't feel he was invested in my experience. Part of this may have been a language barrier. When I got locked out, he told me to ask a nearby restaurant owner to let me in, but he hadn't told the owner I was coming. I stood in the rain while I convinced a suspicious stranger to help me, which was stressful. Towels: Bring your own. The ones provided are very rough. Bottom line: Fine for a short stay of a couple of nights, but the friction around arrival, access, and communication means I probably wouldn't book again.
