  It filled a need and there was a reason it was only £148 for two nights

  Location and hot tub

  Bed mattress and I had to clean saucepans and glasses before I could use them. Cooking facilities very poor.

  Peaceful, picturesque, pretty much perfect!

  The whole stay was amazing! The location was stunning and the shepherd’s hut itself was gorgeous! The host’s attention to detail was particularly good; providing everything we could need, the hut was comfortable but also beautifully presented. The daffodil scheme was lovely, the room was decorated with the host’s beautiful, original, artworks on the walls and was generally very cosy. The hot tub was the perfect way to elevate the stay even further and was a highlight of our trip. Because it is a rural location, the road/ driveway to access the property is a bit bumpy but this sort of adds to the charm.

  Setting was amazing, in a field of it's own. Hot tub was maintained well. The people were lovely. Secluded. Good middle base to get to places. Shower was great and clean.

  We were there for 10days, could have done with clean sheets. No sign at the entrance which makes it difficult to find. No helpful instructions for local amenities, password to Wi-Fi, where to put bin etc. A small welcome pack would have been well received.

  Lovely little get away hut

  The hut was clean, well equipped and spacious. We did go in during a heatwavr and the heat in the hut was intense but we brought a fan and it didnt ruin our break away. The views were spectacular. The area was so peaceful and quiet. The hosts were lovely and friendly they answered questions quickly and were on hand if needed. We didn't have any problems with Internet or phone signal not that we needed it. Loved the little wildlife garden lots of butterflies, dragonflies and birds. It was all the aspects of camping but with alot more comfort. Loved it

  Some of the garden area needed strimming back a little and weeding around the hot tub. Needed blinds on the window in the kitchenette area. Could of done with some storage boxes under the bed to store clothes and food. A few more hooks around too hang towels and coats out of the way.
