  Needs a deep clean and maintenance

  Well located next to the bus line, easy shot down into Nottingham

  The crockery, dishes and other pans were filthy with residue from previous guests on the glasses. Had to wash everything before we could use them. The apartment also showed signs of basic maintenance but the windows and base boards need attention. There were also no instructions for how to use the washer dryer or the oven. And the Airbnb style "these are the rating requirements and we only have to provide you with the bare essentials to meet their requirements" email was less than appreciated.

  More like student or contractor digs than a cosy stay

  The location is great for public transport to the city centre. The property management team was quick to respond to my messages. The bedroom was comfortable and size of accommodation is good.

  Sadly, this accommodation did not live up to the expectations we had from the photos and positive reviews. And despite paying more than the cost of a decent hotel in the city centre, it felt like we were in student or contractor digs, not cosy accommodation. The property is dated and, in my opinion, needs a lot of work. When we arrived, glasses in the cupboards had not been cleaned, red wine residue still in glasses. The drawers for pans, cooking equipment and cutlery were dirty, and clearly had not been cleaned for a long time. The hand towel in the bathroom was not clean, and the radiator, floor, and skirting boards were covered in dust along with the shower head rail half off the wall. The surfaces in the lounge kitchen area where the sofa, lamp and TV are had a visible layer of dust, and the TV remote did not work. There was no tea towel, tea, coffee etc or the comforts you would find in a basic hospitality package in most hotel and bnb's, no information packs. The contact on the management team did offer to send someone to rectify the issues. But we were alreasy installed in the flat and our stay was only 2 nights, plus there were too many issues to deal with to make this accommodation a good standard. However, we were offered complimentary late check out, but only after 3 times of asking the question about late check out and complaining about the standard of cleanliness. I hate complaining, and I feel for the people on the other end of the messages, whether owner or management company, however, when a cleaning or maintenance team let a property down this much, it is needed. I was advised by the contact that the photo evidence I supplied was not the usual standard of cleaning, but I am sorry to say that I feel this may be a misguided statement from them and they need to start making spot checks to ensure a better standard is achieved and maintained.

  The worst accommodation we have stayed in

  beds where comfy and spacious rooms

  instructions to get in not easy after a long day. Stairwell not clean , door handle held on with tape, kitchen units sticky and dirty, Dust was everywhere and being asthmatic this was an issue. Had to shop to buy items for our stay as no hand soap, t-towel, wash liquid, cloths, little toilet roll, surface wipe, Bathroom towels need replacing and hand towel was dirty, Bathroom bins were not emptied and certain a disgusting shock in one. plenty of damage around the property. Shower head could not be adjusted And facilities needed updating/ replacing,
