Huge disappointment, shocking and humiliating treatment ruined our stay in Boston
Let's start with the fact that at the beginning we received a different room than the one we had booked (we had booked a room with a shower and not a bathtub because of the girl's medical problem). When we arrived, we were told by the reception representatives that the hotel did not have a room with a shower for 4 people. I immediately showed the hotel the picture of the room that was booked on Booking, which had a clear picture of a shower. The person who claimed to be the manager that evening on the reception team told us that he had no idea where Booking had taken the picture from. After he insisted that the hotel had no rooms for four people with a shower—like the ones shown in the photos on Booking.com—I showed him the exact same photos on the hotel’s own website. He then changed his story, suddenly claiming that such rooms do exist but were fully occupied. I have to ask: how can they be fully occupied if I booked one of these rooms? Did the hotel give my room to someone else, or are they overbooking? In any case, our welcome consisted of being lied to straight to our faces—a lie they were caught in immediately. (They’ll probably try to claim there was a "misunderstanding," but we understand English perfectly well!) We asked to speak with the hotel manager, but they dodged the request, claiming he wasn't around and that they didn't know his schedule. They sent a junior manager instead; she made an unacceptable offer and told us, us, "I will take care of your problem." "If you come back by 3:00, I’ll speak with you; if you return after 3:00, my colleague will speak with you." Yet, after three more days of our stay, no one ever contacted us! If that’s how the hotel managers behave, it’s no wonder the service is at this level.

Relaxing stay in the middle of a busy city.
Excellent downtown location. Breakfasts at the cafe located within the hotel were superb but were at extra cost to the room. The concierge was very helpful.
Nothing. A true four star experience.
