    Lovely place to stay and enjoy the Sussex countryside and coast.

    Everything was as described , so nothing to dislike.

    A perfect stay

    A charming rural setting in a delightful conversion of an old dairy. Thoughtfully furnished and a much needed break. Would highly recommend.

    There were sloping floors and low doorways but that added to the charm.

    Recommended for a quiet stay in the countryside, with access to many places of interest

    Characterful cottage, making the most of its heritage feel. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Lots of books to choose from and a good collection of leaflets etc re places to visit. Helpful but discreet hosts. Great location with own garden area

    I'm not very tall so the height of the bath and wash basin weren't terribly easy to use; maybe something visitors with children or some mobility issues may want to bear in mind. Having said that, the shower over the bath was great!

    We had an absolutely amazing experience at this lodge. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome, and the whole stay was comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. The lodge itself was beautiful, cosy, and exceptionally well maintained, with everything we needed for a perfect stay. The surroundings were peaceful and scenic, making it a wonderful place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. What really stood out was the hospitality. The hosts were warm, friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their genuine kindness made the experience feel extra special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and honestly didn’t want to leave! We would happily return and would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay with fantastic hospitality.
