    Outstanding stay

    Could not fault it. A fabulous stay. Closed to the public ( a monday) but food ( delicious) and beer available. An outstanding room. Excellent breakfast. A really superb stay.

    A good place for a stop-off if on your route.

    Very comfortable country inn, hospitable. Large, well appointed room and good food

    Isolated, in a bleak part of the Peak District, although on a main road so easy to find. A little road noise at night.
