I could live on that terrace!
The location was perfect for us. A 5 minute walk to the station and the area was quiet with absolutely stunning views of the bay of Naples that we couldn't tear ourselves away from. The terrace was particularly well equipped and comfortable. We didn't spend much time indoors other than to sleep but the air con in the bedrooms was much appreciated. It was a great location to do Vesuvius, Pompeii and Herculaneum (we only stayed 3 nights) and not as touristy as other more well known areas. I loved the winding streets cut into the hillside and the cobbled roads. We really appreciated the selection of drinks and snacks the hosts left for us. The apartment is beautifully decorated and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into it. The hosts were very kind, met us on arrival despite our plane being 3 hours late and getting us to the property at nearly midnight. They helped us up the many stairs with our bags on arrival and departure too (also much appreciated).
Hardly any negatives and all the fantastic things about this apartment totally outweighed them. The organic waste bin under the sink didn't have a lid and was often full of ants (maybe i didn'tunderstandthe instructions? ). We kept our food waste in the fridge as much as possible. The loo off the kitchen smelt a bit stale but we mostly used the beautifully decorated main bathroom.
