Cosy, calm and comfortable
Beautiful setting in a very sweet village. Very comfortable bed! The pub is excellent (wide selection of delicious ales and the menu looked great) and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Acceptable for a one night stay only
Room was ideal for a one night stay, it was clean and adequate. Food in the pub was excellent and staff were friendly and accommodating.
No television in the room. Curtains only just closed too and were very stained. The walk round to the room from the road was not a pleasant experience….. not tidy or inviting. For the cost of the room a little more effort could be made.

Useful for our requirements
Comfortable bed & nice shower facility & location.
Curtains had stains on them & didn’t fit the windows, door had a see through net on it right opposite the bed. Chairs were uncomfortable & table really small. Overpriced for the stay. No tv either.

Perfect for us with the dogs
It was perfect for us and our dogs, just to let them wonder at the ground at the back was fantastic. The property was spotlessly clean and the pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable and crispy clean bedlinen. The food at the pub was excellent. We enjoyed the afternoon sitting in the garden. Would definitely be on one to return when we’re in the area. Thank you
