The hotel recently changed hands and the new owners weren't completely prepared for guests. It's advertised as a B&B, which implies breakfast is included in the cost, but it was not. Having said that, the breakfast was excellent and really delicious. Highly recommend. Housekeeping did not refill the provided shampoo, body wash or conditioner when they cleaned the room. Our room was at basement level but received lots of light; however, we could hear footsteps of everyone walking in the common areas on the first floor. It didn't bother us that much, and the hotel was otherwise very quiet. The mattress sank in the middle, so my partner and I ended up rolling into in the trough in the middle of the bed when we fell asleep. I hope the new owners switch out the mattress soon.

They canceled our reservation for the cottage and have us 2 rooms at the inn instead and did not even tell us until the day before. We booked elsewhere, as we wanted a kitchen and living area. When I requested a refund, it took several days for them to return our deposit.

Our host was available for all questions and needs, as well as good local information. We enjoyed the fire on a snowy weekend. We hope to return soon to enjoy all of what the property offers.

The property is not well maintained, there is no staff and this is not a BnB anymore.
