    Excellent value. Peace and quiet in a beautiful property

    Beautifully maintained property. Very close to the prom but also very peaceful. Excellent parking. The owner was friendly and prepared an excellent breakfast. It was a real pleasure to stay for a couple of nights just as their season was finishing.

    Great location, parking is free and plentiful and the beds were really comfortable.

    Clean hotel, little dated but still very, very nice. The staff were unbelievably polite and friendly, my daughter and I had several conversations with the owner in the evenings and the front of house staff in the morning. The location was fantastic, not directly on the front but literally 5 minutes walk to the beach. The train station was at the end of the garden, out of site due to the slope but if that was a method of travel for you, it is PERFECT! The pool was fantastic, it wasn't heated as the weather was sufficiently warming it during the Summer, however the owner did say that she could have heated it if the weather wasn't as good as it was.

    Honestly I'd be picking at straws to pull this hotel down, especially for the price I paid, sort of last minute booking on a weekend in the Summer holidays. Like I have mentioned above, a little dated but that really does add to the character.

    This surpassed our expectations - would definitely come back.

    Everything was superb. The garden, the rooms, the atmosphere - all really welcoming and friendly, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and staff were equally excellent and friendly. Also, location excellent as so close to the station and to the beach.

    Nothing not to like.
