    Beautiful cottage, unpleasant odor.

    We really enjoyed the vast garden and birdlife. We also liked the record player upstairs. Being very close to the town centre was a positive too. The fire with some wood and firefighters was nice. The owner was quick to respond when we had an issue, was understanding and offered a small refund for the inconvenience.

    The biggest negative was the smell from the dead animal under the house , owner tried to solve the issue but the smell remained. The beds are aged, mattress not very comfortable. Need to bring plenty of extra fire wood in cooler months. Small trip hazards from different level flooring.

    Fantastic family getaway

    Great location, beautiful gardens, tidy and had everything you need for a fantastic little get away. So nice to relax on the deck with the birds flying round and listening to all the sounds of the wildlife at night. We had the fire going at night and even tried out the pizza oven. Great stay away for our family.

    Unimpressed and made our stay in Margaret river not enjoyable

    Gorgeous cottage, lovely outdoor setting and close to town centre

    Too big for 2 people, too cold- heating not sufficient, despite wood fire. Had to buy fire wood, this should have been supplied for the huge cost per night. Not clean, front door lock hard to open and close, same back door, no heating in bedrooms, way too cold and uncomfortable. Only pantry item was. Very small milk, old tea bags and no other staples so I have to buy everything. Not good value for money.
