    Welcoming staff

Lovely staff, nice bar, good location.

Radiator broken in room. Could not switch off first night - far too hot to sleep! Reception said they’d switch it off next night but it was on full blast again. Third night it was switched off. Obvious it was broken as thermostat knob was on floor when we got there.

Very enjoyable one night stay. Would recommend

Room was very comfortable. Would maybe go for a superior next time, just for more space. Dinner in the bar was lovely and breakfast excellent.

Basic with issues that could have been fixed.

Location. Staff were friendly enough although didn't fix issues quickly enough. Is dog friendly throughout. Parking available Restaurant/breakfast was good- chips not anaemic.

The emergency lighting coming on at 4am for half an hour which we couldn't turn off- had to go to reception who couldn't help. Not being told the room card for lighting was broken which led to us being without electricity from 4am until 10am. No real apology or any sort of discount from any staff member despite it either being a broken room item or lack of information from staff. Bright emergency lights in room- being eye masks. Room quite small for dogs. One member of staff doing reception, bar and restaurant in evening. Probably could be clearer about whether we were in hotel or motel at booking. Dirty carpet in breakfast room.
