Solo female traveller. Great place to break up a long drive.
It’s very beautiful. Surrounded by trees great views. Comfy bed, nice extras, fruit, crisps, good variety of tea. Plenty of parking, nice breakfast. Farm shop on site is wonderful if pricey (no more than other farm shops!)
Didn’t realise my room would be three floors up. Got mobility issues so it was difficult. More accessibility info would be good.

House keeping very poor and let's this otherwise lovely place down
Location is lovely. Breakfast at the farmhouse was delicious and the staff were really pleasant and helpful.
First room we were given was small. Smelled strongly of urine and hadn't been cleaned properly. The previous occupants shirt was still hanging in the wardrobe. We complained to the staff who checked us in at the farm shop. They were lovely and agreed the room wasn't acceptable and moved us to another room which was lovely but was thick with dust.we had to get a cloth and wipe down the surfaces all over the room.. By the time we had moved rooms and checked in we were too late to book a table for dinner and ended up having to leave the hotel and find another restaurant.. it was supposed to be a relaxing stay but turned out to be very stressful and disappointing.
