    The location, the view

The property wasn’t in overall great condition, the gate on the veranda was broken and replaced with a wooden board, outdoor furniture was broken, toilet seat broken, dirty linen no instruction manuals just overall disappointing with the accommodation. We have stayed on the park before and other lodges were in great condition.

    Avoid this lodge

The lodge was right next to the lake the area itself was beautiful and so quiet

It was dirty! stains on the towels on the bed on the pillows on walls, netting was, dirty big cobwebs on the windows dead flies and bugs on the widow ledge used knives left in the draw with butter on dirty food left inside the oven and grease on the lower part of the oven, a snapped knife in the draw dirty used tongs. Crumbs of food left all under the table and around skirting boards in the kitchen, broken lamp in the living room that was snapped so was Pretty useless and a badly put together gate as you walk up to the property that’s sums up what it will end up like inside. For a 5star place i would not recommend flamingo lodge but i do recommend any other lodge as the site itself is beautiful
