    A lovely property to enjoy our first trip to Helensburgh.

    Proximity to station and to water front. Personal welcome from host and the opportunity to meet Ali after our stay too. Generosity of host to compensate us for lift bring out of operation by providing a voucher for Costa.

    Overall a house would be preferable to a flat. The dining table, which was a hybrid coffee table and dining table didn't seem very stable.

    Ideaal verblijf als gezin voor bezoek aan Glasgow en Loch Lomond.

    Al voor vertrek was er een goed contact met de hoste Ali. Gaandeweg werden we ingelicht over het feit dat de lift mogelijks buiten dienst zou zijn wegens plaatsing van een nieuwe lift. De dag van aankomst konden we meteen nadat we met de trein waren ingekomen inchecken. We werden welkom geheten door Ali en kregen een uitgebreide rondleiding in de flat. Alles was spik en span en we er werd al wat brood en confituur voorzien voor de eerste dag. Tevens ook heel veel soorten koffie en thee. De kinderen vonden de flat ook enorm leuk en hebben van het verblijf genoten, dat geldt ook voor ons, zelfs met een buiten dienst zijnde lift was dat geen enkel probleem! Ideale ligging in het centrum, vlakbij het water, winkels en het station Helensburg Central. Beter kan niet. Top!

    Er waren geen noemenswaardige tegenvallers voor ons. Het enige dat we nog zouden willen meegeven is dat de opklaptafel in de keuken te klein is om samen te eten. De andere tafel in de living kan je hoger plaatsen, maar staat niet geheel stabiel op het tapijt.

    Friendly, comfortable, convenient

    Our host was very helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home. She gave us all the info we needed, including some local recommendations. And even provided us with some pastries for the morning

    Beautiful location with a view of the town square and one block from the gorgeous waterfront. Easy access to shops, restaurants, train station and waterfront. The Flat is beautifully kept, has a very homey feeling and very comfortable furniture. We'll be looking to rent this place again in the future.
