    Comfortable, clean and great food.

Attention to detail. Thoughtfully decorated room with a homely ‘fleece’ theme, very comfortable bed and spotless ensuite. The breakfast was very good and the pub meals in the evening were homemade and tasty. The location is historic and interesting. I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you to the staff who were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

    Nothing.

    Good value and great location

Good location. No parking, but we were able to find free parking close by. Cosy room, with a newly renovated bathroom. Friendly staff.

There seemed to be a very regimented system regarding table bookings. We asked if there was any chance of eating earlier than our reserved time, but was told no although there were free tables and staff hanging around. Possibly the system is designed so that the kitchen didn’t get overwhelmed. It wasn’t a problem, but seemed odd. Would have liked more choice of cold breakfast items.
