Needs refining, staff and chef need sorting out.
Beautiful location and very tastefully decorated newly refurbished rooms which had fridges, ironing board lovely hospitality tray, coffee maker. Good water pressure in shower, good towels and linen
Firstly the room was hot and the thermostat was sealed. A staff member managed to break it open. Dinner let this place down. Monday 30% off online. I suspect to get rid of weekend leftovers. Potatoes tasted old. Pork w crackling, this was a piece of rubbery fat. We received a lame excuse. The waiter had no idea what was on the menu. No idea what veg came with the special. Kept going in and out of kitchen to ask the chef. Breakfast was ok. Not sure how to eat a whole uncut grapefruit though. The lady serving breakfast was efficient. She gave us a discount for the poor dinner. Breakfast was marred by the smell of cleaning fluid as they decided to wash all the main floors in the middle of service. Why not the night before?

A very enjoyable stay in beautiful surroundings.
Perfect setting in beautiful village and countryside. Very friendly staff. The bar area is a lovely cosy space which has retained original features and not been horribly modernised. Very good food. Bedroom was small but very well appointed and very comfortable.

Lovely setting, Friendly welcoming staff. The room was really lovely, and comfortable. Food was fab and breakfast was very nice too .!
There wasn't anything I didn't like .
