    Lovely situation, very nice helpful staff, lovely seating out area. Beautiful area, short walk to Birchover with pubs and walks fron the site.

    There was very little equipment in the kitchen - fine for a couple of nights but for longer would be good to have some ovenproofdishes, salad bowl etc.

    Location

    Bed uncomfortable, smell of damp,bed small double,couches very tired and uncomfortable. Noise from neighbours either side.

    A nice stay in a lovely spot.

    Quiet and rural, outside space. It was cool in the heatwave. Nicely furnished. We saw a hedgehog. Loved the peacocks. The whole place was well kept.

    We expected the property to be in Stanton in Peak as that was the address, it was in Birchover, a couple of miles away. This is not the fault of the property, maybe should be pointed out on Booking.com website? ( we were visiting family in Stanton in Peak) Hot water and fridge weren’t on when we arrived. A few more basics in the kitchen would be nice, coffee, salt and pepper.

    Everything was good, and it was very comfortable.

    There was a smell of damp,especialy in the bathroom.
