Very friendly and helpful staff. The apartment was large and comfortable, the food and beer were excellent.

Breakfast could have been a lot better.

    We wouldn't come again.

The property was convenient for town. We liked the spaciousness of the apartment and it was a nice idea to be able to have breakfast in the room at whatever time suited us.

The room wasn't ready when we arrived, there were no lightbulbs in the corridors leading to the apartment (health hazard), the apartment really needs some upgrade (wallpaper coming off the wall), there was not enough coffee and no tea on the first morning, and the whole place stank of rancid fat. Staff seemed a bit lost, so for example we couldn't pay our outstanding bill when we left and I was never giving the iron that was promised in the description. The whole place needs some renovating and better management.

We were greeted by Clare who manages The George. Clare was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was a double bedroom and a lounge which was a fantastic bonus. Very clean and would definitely recommend this place. A lovely 10 minute walk into town

staff and great value for money.

The period property is in a lovely, quiet location. The apartment was very spacious with a separate living area, bedroom and bathroom. The evening meal was excellent, and Wes and Willow were really friendly. Great value for money, free parking, and dog-friendly too.

The apartment was very hot when we first arrived, although it improved once the fans were on and the windows were opened. The continental breakfast was quite basic.

A little gem of a place

Quiet location, lovely small beer garden, with fist rate meals, well decorated and appointed room. Staff were very accommodation holding our luggage on the day of check out, whilst we explored the town.

Just one small point which was raised on check out, for a self catering room, insufficient cutlery for tow people and a tea towel to dry up cups etc. would have been beneficial, otherwise excellent stay
