Country pub feel. Comfy beds and kids loved the bunk beds.
Husband had the breakfast muffin and it was raw in the middle. No staff came to the table to ask if everything was ok and didn’t see any staff at checkout to notify them. Cleaning of rooms could be improved. Dirty window sills and surfaces in bedrooms

Excellent, comfortable and really good value
My son and I styed just for one night as he was competing in local moutnain biking event. Whilst the outside of the The George may look a little dtaed, the insdes are fabulous. Beutiful, warm and welcoming bar and resturnat with open fires, moder interiors and lively friendly atmosphere. We had asked for our doubl eroom to made up with two single beds (my son is 14ys) and Leonie organised this without hesitation. The room was beutifully decorated, spacious, with fridge, coffee & tea facilities, flat screen TV and very comforatble beds and pillows. The bathroom was equally excellent. Throughly reconmend a stay here and we will be back next year!
