  It was great.

  This is a one storey building which is excellent if you have any mobility issues and hate stairs! Both bedrooms have accessible bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped but we also took our own woks with us. The location is quiet and you need to have a car to get around. The spa which is included with the rental was very good. The indoor pool is 12 metres long and you can walk into the pool. The outdoor whirlpool pool was really relaxing. Robes are provided for when you get out which was great. We really enjoyed our stay here.

  Overall we really liked the Gig House and had a lovely stay. The onsite spa was a great bonus.

  Very comfortable bed and bedding. Showers and the log burner were also very good. It was brilliant to have a Spa on site. Lovely quiet location. The kitchen was well equipped and the spa robes and passes were a lovely touch.

  We would have liked to have more use of the spa but as we were mostly out during the days and it wasn’t open early morning or in the evening we only managed a short time there. An onsite shop would be a welcome addition. We would have liked bigger towels for showering! A bath in the bigger bathroom would have been nice. Bedroom door of the bedroom to the right needed some WD40 on the hinges and the tap dripped in the kitchen. One of the kitchen chairs needed fixing and I couldn’t find a way of turning the rainfall shower on in the bathroom.

  Charming cottage in beautiful setting with a spa on your door step.

  Beautiful, private and peaceful setting with great spa fasciitis on your door step. Very well equipped cottage, with everything you could possibly need. Very well equipped kitchen too. It came with a very useful information about the property as well as great recommendations for the local points of interest to explore.

  Spa was a bonus

  Poor cleanliness, shower did not work, had to use spa showers, broken unit in bedroom, dirty cups. Cobwebs. Dead flies on window ledge, lack of wardrobe space in main bedroom. Had to use airer. Water bottles still full of water in cupboard.. No well come pack. Had to strip bed empty bin on leaving Should be part of the service as expensive place to stay.

  Lovley and peaceful, a few things need attention, but overall it was nice.

  Lovely peaceful place Spa is a massive bonus and very relaxing. Everything you could think of was there, the kitchen was fully functional. Location was perfect for a short break, stress free and comfortable.

  Wasn't as clean as expected, although in the countryside, you expect a lot of spiders, it was clear that the rooms hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. Lots of spiders/cobwebs in all rooms. Oven needs a deep clean. 1 bathroom had a drain smell. the shower was amazing! Other bathroom, shower needs attention, just dribbled and no power at all. Towels were clearly worn. Need replacing.
