The sound travelling in this hotel is ridiculous. Trying to relax late afternoon before going to dinner was impossible.
Lots of staff. Location is good.
The walls and floors are made of paper. SO noisy. You can hear everything downstairs, in the next door rooms and in the corridor.

An excellent stay in an interesting hotel in a very attractive, small town.
The breakfast was quite good and the coffee was exceptional. The menu was a little limited. I would like to have seen scrambled eggs or omelettes on it.
The main radiator in room five was not working. Instead, we had a portable electric one with a very short electrical cord. The bathtub was dangerously high to enter and exit. My friend and I both need assistance with this. There should be some grab bars, or something to make access to the bathtub safer and easier. The waste bins were too small and could not contain much refuse. Despite these criticisms, we had a very enjoyable stay at the golden lion. The taxi service recommended was excellent. We enjoyed all the old photographs on the premises.
