It felt like home over looking the forest. It has a fire place. The kitchen is an equipped with everything.

It was a bit cold and the location is a bit isolated you have to come with a car.

Deborah and the team at Good Earth Farm let us leave our luggage in the hallway before check-in. From the entrance and the photos, we suspected something big, but by far not what we later discovered. It was gradually getting dark and cold when we arrived. At first, we were surprised by the variety and size of the rooms in the house, featuring two en-suite double bedrooms on the ground floor and another two upstairs, plus a kitchen, living and dining room, and outdoor areas with balconies, terraces, and an illuminated pool. The house "interlocks" with the surrounding forest. First, we were welcomed by the large gas heater and a fully equipped kitchen—tastefully furnished like everything else in the house. We gradually discovered the many utility rooms and details, the skylights, and small windows in every necessary spot. In this wonderful and quiet place we had the short chance to feel nearer to our only and good earth. After waking up before sunrise to record it I got myself immersed in some of the books in the house, like the one about the unusual life of Dan Sheldon. Normally, with the books in a rented house, you notice they are just lying around completely homeless and valueless, but in this house, they belong just like every piece of furniture, piece of art, vase, plant, rug, or kitchen tool. We used the big old mortar to grind coffee beans In the middle of our second night, I got up and experienced one of the most beautiful and clearest starry skies I have seen since my childhood. The rustling of the trees and the sounds of the forest in the cold wind of our first evening of arrival turned into a mild, warm morning breeze upon our departure. Two staff members of the farm said a friendly goodbye to us, like everyone here. We followed Deborah’s recommendation and visited Nature's Valley and the Blue Rocks Cafe. Thank you Deborah, thank you all for this experience.

We just had some trouble with the hot water but the staff were very helpful and friendly in sorting it out
