    Craig and Dan were so personable and were available for any needs. The breakfasts were great. Food was fresh and tasty.

    The bathrooms are a bit small. The toilets are very closed in. Of course the house is older so it's understandable.

    Homely old world comfort

    This is a lovely old building with character and style that epitomises New England. It is comfortable, warm and welcoming. The living area is very sociable on an evening with a fireplace and if you are lucky there will be home made cookies. The breakfast avoids standard American fare and serves up interesting dishes and nice flavours. Our room was comfortable with a big bed and two chairs ( including a rocker). Sodas are there in a fridge.

    It wasn’t a problem but if you don’t like a lot of stairs check what floor you will be on.

    I highly recommend this in if ever in the Ludlow area.

    Convenient location to shops, restaurants. Little traffic. Good parking. Exceptional breakfasts. Congenial hosts. Cheerful staff. Afternoon treats. Robes. Comfy bed. Super fluffy towels.

    No place to store bags on 1st floor. I was on a motorcycle and had to unload exposed luggage for safety reasons. Stairs are a bit steep to carry bags.
