  The flat is much bigger than the photos show; the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped with utensils so you can cook and feel right at home. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. There is free, secure parking, and the unit features street-facing windows and a balcony. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful with any needs—she even let me check in 30 minutes early. The area is very quiet and peaceful; my boyfriend and I had a great stay.

  OK apartment with some improvements

  It was an OK apartment. It had everything I needed.

  It was summer and really hot which obviously is not the host fault. When we came in the apartment must have been over 30C due to all the windows being closed. I understand they were closed for security reasons. However, many windows could not be opened to ventilate which made sleeping extremely difficult. Floor was dirty, washing machine was mouldy, and cookware such as pans were unusable because everything would get stuck on it. Tried making an omelette and made a disaster. I highly recommend changing kitchen pots and pans. I also recommend putting some cooler cotton sheets during the summer months as those sheets seemed to be a bit fleecy which made the heat even more unbearable. Bathroom smelled really bad, I assume because of the heat and humidity. Even though with the window open it stunk. The owner of the apartment told me that we could park the car wherever we wanted in the parking spots next to the building. On the last day I was told by a very rude young lady that was her parking spot and to move the car. The following is out of the reach of the apartment owner but good to know for future guests: The district line station is 10 minutes away by walk which it was fine considering I am 6 months pregnant. However we were very unlucky that the specific weekend we stayed there, the station was closed. Bear in mind the nearer station for the C2C line at Dagenham Docks is 30 minutes walk from the flat (we did not have an available bus either), or the Elizabeth line in Goodmayes is 10 minutes walk + 20 minutes by bus from the flat.
